Tell us your phone platform and whether you row at home or at the gym. We’ll reply with availability and next steps. This is an email enquiry, not automatic enrolment or a mailing-list signup.
Keep your workout safe
A workout saved on your phone is not automatically a cloud backup. In account-enabled versions, check Settings & Backup for confirmation. If a backup is pending, keep the app and its data on that device. Don’t reinstall to fix a workout that has not been backed up.
You can prepare a device-only export in Settings and then choose where to save or share it. Current testing builds offer optional sign-in and backup; a guest workout stays on that device unless you export it or choose to add it to an account.
Delete your Wildwater account
In an account-enabled version, open Settings & Backup → Account controls → Delete account. Read the confirmation and authorize deletion with a sign-in method linked to that account. If your session has expired, the deletion entry remains available so you can verify your identity again.
Successful deletion removes your Wildwater identity, cloud workout history and saved cloud preferences, plus that account’s files on the requesting device, including unsynced workouts. Apple authorization is revoked where applicable. New guest workouts are kept separately. Exported files, shared copies and copies on other offline devices are not remotely erased.
If the app shows deletion as incomplete, reconnect and use Retry account deletion. Don’t treat an interrupted request as confirmation. If you cannot access the app or need assistance, email support@metatheory.gg with the subject “Wildwater account deletion”. We’ll verify ownership before acting. We do not require a phone call.
Account deletion does not cancel any store subscription. Purchases are disabled in the current private beta; if you hold a subscription separately, manage it through Apple or Google Play.
Product-learning data requests
Optional product-learning events use a separate random profile ID. Account deletion does not automatically remove previously sent events. Before deleting the local profile, copy the data ID from Settings → Product learning & data and email it to support with your access or deletion request. We may need to verify control of the profile. Turning participation off stops future collection and clears unsent events.
See our Privacy policy for the complete data and retention explanation, including operational records and deletion receipts.
Guest-only data
A guest has no Wildwater cloud account to delete. Export anything you want to retain before removing the app’s local data. Removing local data does not remove product-learning events you previously chose to send; use the separate request above first.
